Fudge Chair by Faye TooGood
We love our fiberglass! Especially when it’s made into cool furniture for your pad. The Fudge Chair by Faye Toogood is a new take on some of the classic fiberglass mid-century modern chairs we know and love. Like its name, the Fudge Chair looks like it was handmade from a piece of soft, delicious fudge by a giant hand.
The armchair design features subtle imperfections and asymmetrical lines along its silhouette. It is made of one solid form with stubby, chunky legs. The original Fudge Chair design was hand-crafted using clay.
The Fudge Chair is now reproduced into wood and casted in fiberglass by artisans. Then this playful chair is hand-sanded in very fudge-like satin matte finishes, such as cream, dark chocolate, pastel mallow and forest green.
Although the design is very playful, the price of each Fudge Chair is pretty hefty. Fudge Chairs by Faye TooGood are being sold for over $12,000.00 per chair. Although it resembles an armchair straight out of Bedrock in a Flintstones home, the appeal is for those with a soft spot for unusual, hand-crafted design.
