Designer Spotlight: Polygon Playground

Sometimes the beauty of a room is not so much about the furniture itself, as it is about the sensation that you and your guests feel inside that room.  Ploygon Playground elevates sensory perceptions to a new height with their innovative use of light and shape.  Their conceptual furniture is billed as “a large-scale interactive lounge object”.  The multi-surface piece is installed in a commercial or private setting, and several interactive 3D surface projections are added to give it depth.  the piece itself is mapped in real time, all of the angles and surfaces covered by the light show, and the system detects people’s positions and movements, and maps a new surface depending on the interaction.  A truly innovative and cutting-edge design.
