Designer Spotlight: Laszlo Rozsnoki
Laszlo Rozsnoki is a Hungarian product designer who has a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts Maastricht, and extensive internship and educational experience. All of his pieces are reflective of his Bachelor Thesis entitled “Questioning the Established”. Rozsnoki has taken conventional products, like a bookcase and a table, and twisted and contorted them to remain functional with a totally new design. The above pictured Ropeshelf uses layers of rope affixed to the frame at odd angles for support, while the 14% table is angled at 14-degrees from one corner to the other, and uses non-slip texture to prevent dishes from sliding off.
