Designer Spotlight: formagenda

formagenda has a form agenda: to produce lighting that creates a new language through its abundant and lively form. They “make lamps that matter”, ones with character, positive attitude, and flavor. The company believes that they can create instant classic modern pieces by reducing form to its bare geometric minimum while enhancing the overall style of the lamp. The above pictured Don Camillo table lamp uses simplified shapes in the thick cone base and smaller matching lamp shade, and can be used as a desk lamp when facing downward or as a spotlight or room lamp when facing upward. This exemplifies the minimalist yet bombastic attitude that permeates the pieces from formagenda.
