Designer Spotlight: Fluye Studio

Fluye Studio is a Spanish design firm that pushes the limits of modern decor. They create both industrial and graphic design for their clients, using the surrounding space as inspiration for form and function. The two founders both have design education from the prestigious Valencia University. The above pictured Desapercibido is an experiment in making furniture exist only when it is needed. Roughly translated to “Unnoticed” in English, this installation features ceramic front pieces on the drawers, cupboards, shelves and other “hidden” pieces in the room. This matches perfectly with the fixed ceramic tiles that adorn the other surfaces, and create an innovative and interactive minimalist atmosphere.
