Designer Spotlight: Claire Requa

Claire Requa is the designer behind Accent – a design firm that aims to “promote funktional items” that are fun, functional and funky. Specializing in lighting fixtures, Accent began as a small boutique shop in Copenhagen and has been reborn to include an online component in 2005. The whimsical designs that these light fixtures produce in themselves when off and on the wall when flicked on are a fresh and unique way to approach modern design. Individually created by Claire, each piece is a work of art unto itself, with a carefree and wild essence.
