Designer Spotlight: Baccarne Design

Baccarne Design considers itself a “think-tank for product design”, and they definitely live up to this label. They have developed glasses that double as earrings, foam bookshelves, and lamps made out of children’s multi-colored rubber boots. Their focus lies in environmentally-conscious designing that uses recycled material and wildly modern forms, although they do deviate – nothing is off-limits for those involved in Baccarne. Their designs are versatile and many are experimental, and would be perfect for the avant garde art-furniture collector looking for some innovative pieces to give life to his or her collection – or just someone looking for a fresh take on furniture.
