Designer Spotlight: Atelier BLINK

Quirky, creative designs are the specialty of Brussels-based duo Atelier BLINK. Emilie Lecouturier and Céline Poncelet work together in product and environmental design, using innovative shapes, colors, and patterns to produce furniture that is pleasing to the eye. Their goal is to produce items that make you think, and re-think, your surroundings and every-day environment.  The above pictured Nani Rug has an image of a broken mosaic sprinkled on its surface, which combines the sharp edges of a mosaic with the soft surface of the rug.  All of their designs use inspiration from a variety of fields, which include photographers, architects, and designers.
