Designer Spotlight: Alberto Caputo

Alberto Caputo is an industrial designer with a good sense of what appeals to the modern eye. His international European influences span Vienna and Milan, and this is felt in his minimalistic tendencies. He is deeply involved in the product design phase of all of his furniture, and uses cubist philosophy to break each project into manageable pieces and concepts, only to rebuild it again and again. The above pictured 45 Degrees shelving unit is sleek, smooth, and modular. It offers a 45 degree angle to catch the eye, crisp white finish, and highlights its shape with a vibrant yellow, green, pink or blue rim.
