Artists uses soil and mud to paint beautiful wall murals
Japanese artist Yusuke Asai uses a mixture of soil, mud, water, straw and cow dung, yes cow dung, to create gorgeous murals. These mentally fertilizing murals inspire beyond their aesthetic beauty, they are an earth conscious, sustainable medium showcasing the many uses of our earth’s soil. In addition to bringing soil-based materials to the forefront of his artwork, Asai spreads his influence by working with a Tokyo non-profit called Wall Art Project to bring art into many schools throughout India, Tibet and elsewhere.
