“Monument” consists of 15 art sculptures (five of each colorway) by artist Rasmus Nossbring. He hand-sculpts his art pieces in a traditional craftsman style. Once the glass reaches its hottest temperature, it is pressed into an optic mold, then extracted, fold, cut, and polished. He adds his own twist using vibrant and playful colors with unique embellishments and other stylized adornments.

“Moln” consists of 35 hand-blown sculptures by artist Lisa Reiser in collaboration with glassblower Peter Kuchinke. She creates small-scale glass, ceramic, and metal art pieces. She created the mold for the “Moln” series using her design process of daydreaming in a cloud-like state of mind as inspiration. This whimsical message is turned up a notch by using hot pink mercury glass, filled with a layer of liquid silver giving them each a glossy mirrored finish.

You can find all of the Hem X Collection limited edition art pieces on Arranging Things. The site also includes a myriad of different collections from gallery works to posh pop-up stores.

There is a strong yearning for the authentic and tactile, perhaps as a contrast to the screens we have in front of us every day! We like to think of the mass produced and the artisanal as complementary, and we love the idea of having both avenues under the Hem umbrella,” said Founder and CEO of Hem, Petrus Palmér.
