Stephen King’s home features a beautiful and black steel gated fence adorned with gargoyles and initialing wrapping around the perimeter. The architectural style of the home is Victorian painted in bold red with peaks, porches and balconies in bright white.
They offer tours but you can visit the residence to view the writers home. After visiting, make your way a few miles down the road to Mount Hope Cemetery said to be haunted, with gravestones dating back to the 1800s. Many of the graves are those who fought and lived during the time of the Civil War.
The landscape of the cemetery is incredibly beautiful and stretches miles with plenty of twists and turns to explore its different features such as lush trees, hills, dirt roads and a glistening lake in the center of the land.
The cemetery is similar to a hiking trail with different plots where you can enjoy a historic site and be surrounded by century old relics.
