Mod Glam Design in this 1960s Pop Culture Ice Cream Parlor

Self titled not “fake” gelato, italian ice cream shop in old bisbee, AZ is a modern day ice cream parlor with touches of the past, black and white checkered floors and contemporary chandeliers. Some include a vibrant red victorian style chandelier made of polypropylene next to an eye-catching wavy white pendant lamp hung from above.

Posters of hollywood starlets such as Marilyn Monroe, brigitte bardot, Jane Fonda, Barbra Streisand, Raquel Welch adorn the walls, as well as a poster-size, old school Josie and the Pussycats comic book cover. There is a small lounge area complete with a retro oval-shaped coffee table and chocolate brown, multi-colored button tufted sofas in a 1960s fashion.

Whether seated in the lounge area or in one of the many tables throughout the parlor, visitors can enjoy their gelato while watching episodes of Josie and the Pussycats, the cartoon television series on a large screen mounted to the back wall of the shop.

Choose from flavors such as creme brulee, pistachio, blackberry sorbet or classic chocolate in a waffle cone or cup with a vanilla wafer to top it off. You can’t miss this and brightly colored ice cream parlor paying homage to 60s and 70s pop culture.
