NOT SURE where to sit? You’re not alone–Copa’s “It’s a Junction” intentionally confusing design shifts the focus from seat to the sitters. The unconventional x-shaped arrangement is deeply interactive, as it forces individuals to pause and contemplate their usage of the seat. The photos from Salone Satellite 2007 (above) are whimsical but also telling, as they are a reflection of each occupant’s own definitions of personal space, intimacy and comfort.
