QUASI-SUSPENSION OF LIQUIDS is float’s most endearing trait, made possible with clean, simple lines and by its ultraclear Geman borosilicate glass construction. The signature bulb at the bottom of each piece is not only structurally efficient but acts as a lens, focusing liquid filtered light onto the tabletops below. Czech glassblowers craft each piece to be heat resistant and chemically inert; fritted versions also exist which eliminate fingerprints.
