The origami minimale concept lighting designed by lichtkanzlei takes the delicate folded paper from the Japanese traditional art scene and brings it into the modern home. The folds emit a warm glow that runs the spectrum from muted to bright illumination. Each piece is unique, and is numbered as part of a set. There is something calm and reassuring about the light that shines from the center of these cube-like folded fixtures – they appear almost as gems with a brilliant core. Any modern home, restaurant, or business would do well to incorporate these traditional yet up-to-date, environmentally-friendly light-as-art pieces into their decor.
