Cora Floor Lamp

Dewdrop lighting. Bring a little magic from the faerie realm into your living room with this Cora floor lamp from Prime Furniture Source. For $635, this lamp can brighten your room and add its simplistic style to your home. It comes with a sturdy marble base, that can be modified to either black or white marble. The 16″ stainless steel shade seems to pull down on the thin stainless steel pole with just the amount of weight that a dewdrop would have on the tip of a leaf. This is only an appearance of delicacy however, as the lamp is anything but fragile. It is strong and sturdy, and its inspiring glow is reminisce of a mixture of modern style with ancient echoes of faerie dust.
maybe you missed the photo… but it’s italian, named “Arco”, by Achille Castiglioni produced by FLOS, and really famous among designers… even quite old (!)

Absolutely! This is an updated version of a classic! I believe the lamp was even in the old version of The Italian Job, although I saw it quite a while ago so can’t be sure. It is a simply gorgeous piece of furniture, and I’m glad you pointed out its rich design history

Indeed this is a knock off of the Arco. It’s hard to tell in the photo, but the original has a rectangular pole and arch. The knock offs all seem to have skimped and gone with a simple round pipe for that purpose to save money.
If you check on eBay you can often find the same knock off for less than this. Current prices seem to be in the $400-$500 range including shipping.
