If there is one thing we love about mid-century modern design is its sustainable and multi-purpose uses in a minimalist style befitting a variety of home designs. The Farska Creative Cot Series is an adaptive and multifunctional design that can be continuously used as your children grow.
Children outgrow their cribs within the first 3 to 4 years and now you’re tossing, storing or donating the old crib for a children’s size bed with railings. Once the railings are gone, you are investing in another twin size bed. The Farska 5-in-1 Creative Cot extends the lifespan of your investment by turning into a bench, play station, children’s desk and changing station.
It is mainly made from a combination of beechwood, paulownia wood, pine with some parts being synthetic resin and plastic (PPC+ABS, TPR and Nylon). Once your baby is born, it can be used as a crib. One of the sides can be detached, to use as a changing station or for you to sleep soundly with your baby next to you, while they are securely laying in their crib.
Its bed plate height can be adjusted, going from a toddler size to a children’s size to even a teenager / adult size desk. It comes with a padded mattress that can also be adjusted to fit its use. When turning it into a bench, it can unfold forming a padded seat cushion and backrest. The design itself very clean-cut and minimal. It features a taupe color with a gray cushion capable of blending with a multitude of different spaces.
We aren’t the only fans of this multifunctional children’s cot set either. The Farska Creative Cot Series won the 2021 iF Design Award, which was reviewed and judged by an international jury. Its is an undeniable homage to sustainable, compact living.
