INTERGALACTIC FRUIT BOWLS sound like something out of a campy sci-fi flick, but Arik Levy’s Galactica is the real deal. Despite its cosmic connotations this is a down-to-earth piece, made from white earthenware and measuring a meteoric 18″ in diameter. Its slightly concave surface serves as a backdrop for a random pattern of large and small holes (no two are alike); while interesting on their own, shining a light from below reveals a beautiful constellation of stars.
